Eatons Hill Santa Parade

Now in the 7th year, the Eatons Hill Santa Parade is back again and this year will finish off with a fun Community Family Movie Night at Wantima Country Club.

Local resident David Williams is the brains behind it all and each year it gets bigger and better, with more hearts coming together to celebrate. David plays a crucial role amongst a dedicated event team in getting the parade moving each year. He credits the local emergency services, volunteers, and local businesses for their ongoing support and involvement.

Friday 15th December from 4.45pm you will hear the hear sleigh bells ringing, Santa ho-ho-hoing from his sleigh and a parade of emergency vehicles escorting him throughout Eatons Hill.

The foundation of Eatons Hill Santa was built upon the backs of all local emergency services delivering Christmas cheer in wishing all a Safe and Merry Christmas whilst highlighting the importance of road and personal safety and working smoke alarms with a practiced fire escape plan for your household.

As the colourful, light-up procession tours, cheer is spread to each and every family with smiles on every child and adult and as David Williams tells, “The community looks forward to the event each year.”

Thanks to Wantima Country Club for coming on board this year, from 5pm there will be entertainment, food trucks, a Christmas Movie and fireworks spectacular from the major sponsor Gorilla Rush! It will be a fun event for all the family!

“Having been involved in local and abroad community events for over 25 years, as a local it is important to give back to the community,” David explained. “We create memorable moments and bring people together. The event sees neighbours and friends gathering together along the routes.”
