See Scarborough Beach based artists Bill and Judy Cotchin’s sensational Fire & Fibre Exhibition between Wednesday 8 May and Sunday 9 June 2024.

Inspired by nature and natural materials, Bill and Judy weave their magic to fire your imagination.

The Bill and Judy Cotchin’s art draws upon their love of the Australian beaches, forests and mountains. Their artworks use natural materials, from clay to wool fibres, to explore relationships between nature and human design.

In his work, Bill is drawn to subtle colours, rough textures, natural materials and minimal processing. The stunning colours and unique shapes of his pottery creations evolve from the landscapes that surround us.

Judy draws on the wild places and coastlines to weave our natural history in fabric. Her lifelong love of textiles results in the creation of bright uplifting useful and decorative pieces that bring people joy.

Come along to meet the artists and learn more about their techniques on 11 May 2024 commencing at 1:00pm.
