Calling all idea champions, seasoned founders, entrepreneurs and curious minds!

Are you an aspiring or seasoned founder with a business concept you’d like to launch?

Open Mic Pitch Night is a four-part event series happening between May and August 2024, designed to be an inclusive platform for concepts at any stage of development to share your business ideas, refine your pitch and gain valuable feedback while networking with likeminded thinkers and tinkers.

Why pitch?

For most startups, pitching your idea to investors is a crucial part of the journey from idea to reality. Taking part in Open Mic Pitch Night will provide you with invaluable experience in pitching your business ideas and concepts, while also giving you the opportunity to gain feedback from a panel of judges and a supportive audience.

Who can attend?

Whether you're a seasoned founder, or just beginning your startup journey, all are welcome to pitch their business ideas and concepts!

And the best part? Anyone can join in the audience!

Come one, come all, and witness the next generation of business superstars take flight. Be inspired, learn from the pitches, and maybe even discover your own entrepreneurial spark. Open Mic Pitch Night is a night for the entire community!

Please note: While you are welcome to bring any idea or concept to Open Mic Pitch Night, if your idea does align with one of our session themes, join in on the fun and connect with other like-minded entrepreneurs in your field on that date.

Event Details

Open Mic Pitch Night will be held at various venues across Moreton Bay from May-August 2024.

While each night will be focused on a particular theme, you are still more than welcome to submit an EOI to pitch if your idea falls outside these themes!

- Tuesday, May 7 | Sustainability & Environmental Impact (5:30pm-7:30pm)

- Tuesday, June 4 | Health, Accessibility & Inclusion (5:30pm-7:30pm)

- Tuesday, July 16 | Food and Ag (5:30pm-7:30pm)
