World Environment Day - Messages of Hope

Bribie Island and Sandstone Point
June 5th at 10:00am
Free Entry

World Environment Day is celebrated annually on 5 June and encourages awareness and action for the protection of the environment.

The theme for 2024 is Generation Restoration. We cannot turn back time, but we can grow forests, revive water sources, and bring soils back. We are the generation that can make peace with land. In keeping with this theme, we will be airing a special screening of Messages of Hope.

Messages of Hope was a creative and engaging project by students from Year 4 at Living Faith Lutheran Primary School. Messages of Hope features artwork and recorded audio messages from students. These messages and recordings reflect the hopes and aspirations of children living in 2023.

Bribie Island Seaside Museum is open from Wednesday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM, and Saturday to Sunday, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
