Our ‘Women in Trades’ Try A Trade Day events are tailored to empower and inspire future leaders to explore careers in non-traditional fields. Step into a welcoming and supportive environment where you can unleash your potential and defy stereotypes.

During 'Try A Trade Day,' students have the chance to delve into their preferred trade groups, rotating through various disciplines such as

• Plumbing, Construction & Electrotechnology
• Automotive & Metal Engineering

It's a hands-on experience designed to uncover your unique talents and ignite your passion for trades.

By participating, you'll not only discover your capabilities but also pave the way for exciting career paths.

These events are open to young trailblazers aged 14 to 17, and lunch will be provided, ensuring a fulfilling and enjoyable day of exploration.

Date: Thursday, 4th July

Timing: 8:30am for registration in the College Hall.
Women in Trade begins at 9:00am and finishes at 3:00pm.

Entry: The cost is $20 per participant and includes lunch and PPE.
