What's On Moreton Bay | Pick Your Own Sunflowers

Pick Your Own Sunflowers

Woodford
January 13th at 8:00am
from $15.00

Have you ever walked in a field of Sunflowers? Sunflower Sue’s Sunflower Farm are open this weekend (Saturday and Sunday 13th and 14th January) from 8am to 2pm. Their field is huge and they are at their best this weekend.

Come in the rain (if it's light rain bring an umbrella, but if there is thunder and lightening I will close). Bring your boots or a change of shoes, it can get muddy.

Bring your secateurs as you can cut your flowers to the length you want

It is $15 entry fee and for that you can cut up to 7 flowers. All 12 year olds and under are free (but no flowers) extra stems are $2 each.

Bring your doggies as we love dogs and we can be wheelchair friendly if it is dry (sorry no wheelchair toilet).

Mobile phone photos only.

These beautiful flowers take 3 months to grow and are at their fullest for just two weeks. They don't like humidity or rain. They have one more field to open and that, hopefully, should be ready in a couple of weeks and that's it.

Sunflower Sue’s Sunflower Farm are only open Friday afternoons and Weekends while they have sunflowers on the farm.
