Movie in the Park | Rothwell

Wahoo! Movie in the Park is returning to Rothwell this October. On Saturday October 21st experience a night of fun, family friendly entertainment and enjoy a FREE movie screening of ‘The Super Mario Bros. Movie’.

Bring along your favourite picnic rug or folding chairs and enjoy an evening under the stars at Grace Lutheran College, Rothwell. There will be plenty of movie treats available with popcorn and fairy floss for sale. Make sure you also pop in and grab a sausage sandwich from the Ausbuild Community BBQ.

If your little one loves getting their face painted, good news FREE face painting will feature at this event, arrive early to squeeze this in before the movie starts, so you don’t miss a minute of the movie.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie will commence at approximately 6pm, so ensure you have reserved the best spot in front of the screen and set up early to allow for time to grab your movie snacks before the show starts.

About the Movie – The Super Mario Bros. Movie (PG)

Based on the world of Nintendo’s Mario games, the film invites audiences into a vibrant, thrilling new universe unlike any created before in an action-packed, exuberant cinematic comedy event.

While working underground to fix a water main, Brooklyn plumbers Mario and brother Luigi are transported down a mysterious pipe and wander into a magical new world. But when the brothers are separated, Mario embarks on an epic quest to find Luigi.

With the assistance of a Mushroom Kingdom resident Toad and some training from the strong-willed ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom, Princess Peach Mario taps into his own power.
