Join us this August at the Caboolture Historical Village for Heritage Day!

Celebrate the rich cultural traditions of the past, focusing on local history and heritage during this special event. Watch craftsmen and craftswomen demonstrate traditional skills such as quilting, lace making, and blacksmithing to name a few. Discover the beauty of machinery from a bygone era and marvel at vintage cars and motorcycles. Browse through market stalls offering unique handmade goods and delicious food.

• Luthier (guitar maker)
• Blacksmithing
• Family History groups
• Small engine machinery
• Lace Making, knitting, felting, quilting, preserves and jams.
• Artisans Guild - Local Art Gallery display
• Spinners and Weavers
• Military Displays
• Vintage Market – Steampunk paraphernalia, handmade soaps, fruit wines, old-fashioned candy, and Fudge.

Live entertainment from Celtic and classic Australian ballads, Scottish traditional bagpipes, 18th-century country dancing, and fabulous bush poetry readings, there is something for everyone. Many of our wonderful volunteers and guest exhibitors will be stepping out in style in traditional dress.

Rediscover the charm of traditional games like croquet, knuckles, tin can knockdown, skipping, and hopscotch. These classic pastimes offer a nostalgic and enjoyable way to have fun with friends and family. Embrace the simplicity and timeless appeal of these old-fashioned games and get hands-on with interactive activities for kids, making it a fun and educational experience for the whole family.
