The RSL QLD Caboolture Sub-Branch will be hosting a Dawn Service followed by a Gunfire Breakfast at the RSL from 6am to 8am, preceding the Main Anzac Day March and Service.

Dawn Service

Moreton Bay Region families and visitors to the region are invited along to the 4:50am Dawn Service held by the War Veterans Home RSL Care Fernhill Retirement Community at the Bowls Club’s King Street Memorial Hub.

Caboolture Anzac Day March Brisbane North

Led by the Caboolture RSL Sub-Branch president, this Anzac Parade Brisbane North procession is a family-orientated affair involving Anzac diggers and their relatives, as well as community groups and local schools.

Children are encouraged to march with their war veteran family relatives. Loved ones representing fallen Anzac diggers are also welcome to march in their honour.

The Anzac Parade will head along Caboolture’s King Street, past the memorial where the Anzac salute will take place, coming to an end at the Caboolture RSL Club.

Fall in at attention at 8:30am for the Anzac Day March beginning at 9:30am.

March: 9:30am - Down King Street to Town Square

Caboolture Main Service

The Main Service will take place at the Caboolture Memorial Hall in the Town Square on King Street at 10:15am to 11am.

Caboolture RSL Activities

The RSL Club will reopen to the general public at 11am (no pokies until 1pm). The Banksia Room will be putting on ‘Two-Up’ games to finish off the Anzac Day Brisbane North commemorations.

Road Closures (4:00am - 12noon)

  • King Street (between Morayfield Road and Riverview Street)
  • Beerburrum Road (between King Street and Bertha Street)
  • James Street (between Beerburrum Road and Matthew Terrace)
  • Hasking Street (between Beerburrum Road and Multi-story car park entry)
  • Russell Street (between King Street and cul-de-sac)
