The RSL QLD Bribie Island Sub-Branch has big plans for Anzac Day.

Rouse the family early and head over before first light to stand at attention awaiting the bugle call at Korea Park at Bribie Island RSL Sub-Branch’s Dawn Service. Participants and onlookers should flock to the Brennan Park, Bongaree for a 4:28am sharp start on the day.

Due to large numbers expected, patrons are advised to arrive early to allow time for parking and walking to the service.

Anzac Parade Brisbane North Bribie Island March

The main event of the Bribie Island Anzac Day programme is set to kick-off after breakfast. Bring the family down to Apex Park on Toorbul St, next to the Bribie Island Seaside Museum to watch, or join-in the Anzac Parade. Marchers must be ready at 8:30am sharp. Participants will march along Toorbul Street to Korea Place within the Bribie Island RSL grounds.

Main Service

Main Service 9am at Korea Place, Bribie RSL Grounds

The Service in Korea Place will commence after all marchers have arrived, at approximately 9am.

Everyone including school children, ex-service and service organisations and the general public are encouraged to participate in the Anzac Service by placing an Anzac wreath, or appropriate book on the memorial when the time comes.

Road Closures

Toorbul Street (between South Esplanade and Bribie Island RSL Club) will be closed between 7:30 am and 9:00 am on the day.
