Ausbuild have teamed up with Moreton Bay Region Industry and Tourism (MBRIT) to support an initiative to contribute to local community groups throughout the Moreton Bay Region with a Community BBQ which will be available to selected groups at MBRC Community Events for 2022.
The BBQ will be fully stocked with supplies, allowing community group volunteers to operate the BBQ generating sales which will be retained by the group minus a small percentage to cover a portion of the operating costs.
What will be provided:
- Marquee with walls and all infrastructure required to service BBQ’s (gas, tables, utensils, cleaning gear, bins etc.)
- Food required for the BBQ (sausages, bread, sauces, onions and a selection soft drinks for sale- MBRIT to stipulate sales prices)
- A cash drawer (ex cash float)
- Eskies
- Guidelines, including food handling, safety etc on operation of the BBQ
What the community group must supply:
- A minimum of 5 volunteers to perform the roles of cooking and selling for the duration of the event
- Be available to collect sausages from local supermarket via a click and collect order one business day before event
- 6 bags of ice
- Cash float for change and eftpos machine

Terms and Conditions
- The community group selected will be reviewed and awarded by MBRIT
- Acknowledge that this is an application and not a guarantee of selection
- Agree to the terms of supplying the appropriate number of volunteers, supply of ice & collection of sausages
- Agree to arrive two hours prior to the event for briefing and set up
