In addition to emergency alerts, MoretonAlert also provides updates on other important community information, such as road closures, water supply disruptions, and events that may impact residents.
The system is designed to be user-friendly and accessible to all members of the community, including those with disabilities. Alerts are available in multiple languages, and residents with vision impairments can receive alerts in alternative formats, such as audio.

Once you have subscribed to receive alerts, you may receive messages at any time of the day or night. If you are travelling overseas and your phone has international roaming, you will continue to receive emergency alerts. Alerts are location and risk based. With alerts only being sent if the residential address you have registered is deemed in the impact area.
Every reasonable effort will be made to provide alerts to registered users at the earliest opportunity. Telecommunications networks may experience delays in delivery.
