The business places a priority on community involvement and collaborates closely with neighbourhood councils, educational institutions, and community organisations to make sure that all of its facilities are open to the public.
Belgravia Leisure was founded in 1974, starting out as Austgolf Management, running golf courses, event spaces, and driving ranges around Australia. Austgolf Management was then acquired by Belgravia Group in 1985, becoming one of the first Belgravia Group companies.
After acquiring Leisure Management and Marketing and partnering with the Genesis Health Club network, Belgravia Leisure was established in 1990. In 2006, Belgravia Leisure Group was established as a result of the purchase of Corporate Health Management. Belgravia Leisure also accomplished a significant milestone at the same time, managing 50 centres nationwide.
Merely two years later, the business changed its name to Belgravia Health and Leisure Group to better represent its recent and future direction of growth.

Belgravia Leisure’s programs are designed to create a welcoming and nurturing environment for everyone in the community. The organisations partners with peak bodies such as Swimming Australia, Royal Life Saving Societies of Australia and New Zealand, AUSTWIM and ACSTA to provide a variety of water safety and sports programs for people of all ages and skill levels. By providing these programs they give the community the confidence and independence to their local swimming, wellness, gold and leisure venue whilst feeling included, and encouraged.
