Sunburnt in the Suburbs: Exhibition launch & networking event

Join a vivid, hyper saturated exploration of the suburban summer at Pine Rivers Art Gallery. Inspired by the streets of Strathpine, Bray Park and Albany Creek, Sunburnt in the suburbs is filled with giant ice-creams, fantastical houses and never-ending holidays.

Pine Rivers Art Gallery presents this exciting exhibition with Phoebe Sheehy (Phoebe Paradise), a self-taught multi-disciplinary artist, musician and designer based in Meanjin, Brisbane.

Known for her bright illustrations, textiles, murals and public installations, Phoebe’s iconic work explores the visual identity of her hometown and how we make myths out of the mundane.
