Tempt your taste buds and discover amazing local makers with the Tastes of Moreton Bay Feastival ambassador, Alastair McLeod, at the Arana Hills Library’s Spring Harvest.

Grab your friends, family and a picnic blanket for a fun day of cooking, markets and family activities.

Program

Arana Hills Library Carpark

  • 10:00 AM–1:00 PM: Treat yourself or a loved one to something sweet or savory as you browse the pop-up local food makers markets.
  • 10:00 AM – 10:45 AM: Cake decorating demonstration by Pearly from mindful baking brand Pearly Sprinkles.
  • 11:00 AM–12:30 PM: Enjoy a cooking demonstration by celebrity chef and television personality Alastair McLeod.

Arana Hills Library

  • 10:00 AM–1:00 PM: Discover free family fun with activities throughout Arana Hills Library for everyone to enjoy; tour the library’s edible garden
  • 11:30 AM–1:00 PM: Get hands-on and creative as you decorate delicious cakes and cookies with Zumbo’s Just Desserts competitor and award-winning Cake-trepreneur, Pearly.

Event Update 31st August

Due to the predicted wet weather for the weekend, the following changes have been made to Spring Harvest, for safety and environmental reasons:

Marketplace and children’s activities will now be held the library.

The stage and food trucks will now be located in the Arana Hills Library’s bottom carpark.

As a result, there will be reduced parking. The only parking available will be street parking and in the All Saints - Anglican Parish of Grovely church carpark, across the road from the library carpark entrance. Please take this into consideration when planning your visit and ensure you are prepared for wet weather.

Please also note that:
the event may be cancelled if becomes clear that it would be unsafe to continue. If the event is cancelled, ticketholders will be contacted through the ticket booking platform.
