Samford QCWA is celebrating the centenary of QCWA with a cabinet display of crafts and memorabilia at Albany Creek Library in August.

The Samford branch was established in 1964 and currently boasts 47 members. They meet at a hall in Main Street, Samford, at 10am on the 3rd Wednesday of the month and are proud to carry on the ideals of the founding president Ruth Beatrice Fairfax.

Around Queensland, local branches bring together this active community of women who, together, improve the lives of people living in regional, rural and remote Queensland.

Members are renowned for their great home cooks and handcrafts - but the QCWA is so much more than that. It’s about friendship, community and connection.

Free. No bookings required.
