Lake Filling Celebration and Lakeview Park Opening Newport Whats On Moreton Bay

You're invited to celebrate the filling of Newport Lake and the opening of Lakeview Park.

Bring your picnic blanket to enjoy an afternoon in the park with views of the glistening lake.

From 12pm come on down to ride the peddle boats or kayaks. Spend the afternoon under big umbrellas listening to live music, enjoying a tasty treat from the food trucks and enjoying a wide range of children's entertainment!

As the sun goes down at 6.25pm there will be a great fireworks display!

Parking: Please walk to the event if you are close by. Parking will be available in the empty block across from the park on the Corner of Trinity Street and Lakeview Promenade.
