‘It Takes a Spark’ STEM Conference offers a unique experience which inspires and engages students (Year 4 to 10), teachers and leaders in STEM/STEAM to think about new possibilities for learning. Students have the opportunity to attend the event with their teachers and learn and participate together in the latest innovations, technology and developments in STEM.

Teachers / Educators will also have the option to attend a Professional Development stream where some of Australia’s leading practitioners in the fields of design, technology, curriculum planning, student engagement and STEM learning will facilitate engaging sessions.

The 2024 Conference in Queensland will explore the theme STEAM – Empowering Leaders for a Changing World. Over the course of the day activities will spark an understanding of how STEAM skills and thinking enable people to solve challenges, overcome barriers, and create a better and thriving world for everyone. Attendees will also hear from keynote speakers, Dr Karsten Schulz, CEO Digital Technologies Institute and Dr Alexandra Campbell, Marine Scientist at University of the Sunshine Coast.
