Flag Day - Caboolture

The Troop intends to celebrate the Australian National Flag Day, Saturday 3rd September, 2022, which has been celebrated at the Village since 2005, with the Troop actively involved. The Australian National Flag Association and the Caboolture Historical Village support us.

This Celebration will give the residents of Moreton Bay the opportunity to hear from a member of the Australian National Flag Association about our Flag.

The program will start at 9:30am with Horse Drills, followed by the Flag Raising Ceremony at 11 am then the National Anthem with an Address to the assembly on the History and Significance of the Australian National Flag followed by an address by an eminent person on what it means to be an Australian Citizen.

The gates should open at 9am, normal admission Fees apply - ceremony at 11am.

No charge for Troopers, entry at Gate 1, sausage sizzle and drink available if we can get it organized.

This will be an enjoyable educational day for all the family starting at 9:00am with entry through the Caboolture Historical Village – Admission $7 for children, $11 Concession, and $15 Adult.
