Festival of Small Halls - Mount Mee

Hills District
November 16th at 5:30pm
from $20.00

Festival of Small Halls is a series of tours that takes the best folk and contemporary acoustic artists performing at two of our country’s largest festivals, and sends them on the road to tiny halls in communities all over Australia. It is produced by Woodfordia Inc in partnership with many other wonderful Australian festivals, regional partners and great lovers and supporters of folk and contemporary acoustic music.

It’s an opportunity for music-lovers from welcoming communities to invite artists from Home and Abroad into their towns, and a way of exploring this vast country in the spirit of hospitality and great fun.

Festival of Small Halls returns to Mt Mee on Wednesday, 16 November 2022 with Inn Echo and Sam Buckingham.

A drive up to Mount Mee is likely to be slow, your vehicle crawling along the roads as you crane your neck to try to safely check out the breath-taking views of the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Take in the spectacular panorama of all of the Glass House Mountains, across the blue seas to Moreton Island or into the hazy western ranges, the sky a backdrop to the lazily drifting chimney smoke of the smug locals of this area.

Pre-show supper will be available at the Hall from 5.30pm – 6.30pm, catered by Mt See State School P&C and Mt See Hall.
