What's On Moreton Bay | Father's Day Park Jam

Father's Day Park Jam

September 3rd at 10:00am
Free Entry

Park Jam brings local musicians and creative arts activities to parks and outdoor spaces around the Moreton Bay Region.

Local musicians provide the soundtrack for your Father’s Day with a free live music trail. Bring the family to enjoy a meal or play in the park as the trail spans the cafes and restaurants along Landsborough Avenue and throughout Scarborough Beach Park.

Semi-acoustic acts will play short 45 minute sets so you can enjoy your favourite artist or make a day of it visiting all 11 music stations. There will also be a hands-on art activity, The Wonder Wagon, with all materials provided.

The Wonder Wagon offers all kinds of artist-led experiences to communities in the Moreton Bay region. For this event, The Wonder Wagon is transformed into a giant soft sculpture of a plover called Stitch. Everyone is invited to drop in for this free activity, facilitated by Sue Loveday, Jennis Ardern and Kylie Harries. Use provided materials to decorate a headband. Put on some wings and show us your dance moves under Stitch's wing.
