Coming home details and explores the various meanings and ways we are grounded to a place, people and how we find our way back to these.

Through her work, Gabrielle Woodbridge explores the challenges she’s faced to find this anchor in identity as a place to call home and what can happen when you do.

From living all over the world to the unique challenges faced trying to get back to country as a Plangermaireener woman and settling into an unfamiliar place as a new mum to build a home. She examines the various ways we find, construct expectations and make sense of our sense of coming home, through data and technology, travel, the senses and human connection.
