What's On Moreton Bay | Bribie Seafood 'New Orleans Style' Boil Up…

Bribie Seafood 'New Orleans Style' Boil Up with Celeb Chef Alastair McLeod

Bribie Island and Sandstone Point
September 3rd at 5:30pm
from $123.45

Tastes of Moreton Bay Feastival ambassador Alastair McLeod returns this year to host the event – a celebration of all things seafood overlooking beautiful Pumicestone Passage. Prepare to get your hands dirty and your belly filled at this unique dining experience on Father’s Day, with long tables celebrating communal dining and the region’s freshest seafood.

Alastair promises a cracking, sucking, and slurping good time, with the feast’s main event presenting local seafood directly from the pot to the table, served with bottomless fries, assorted sauces, lemons, and picked local vegetables.

Forget the cutlery – diners will be getting hands-on with crab pickers and shell crackers as they dig into a big ol’ boil up of fresh tiger prawns, sand crabs, Moreton Bay bugs, and mussels, with sweetcorn, smoked sausage, and potatoes.

Guests are invited to BYO alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks (no glass is permitted), with champagne buckets filled with ice supplied on the table, along with jugs of water for self-service. Children are welcome, although specific children’s meals are not available and the Bribie Seafood Boil can accommodate some dietary requirements.
