Bribie Island Croquet Club's Treats & Treasure Market

Bribie Island Croquet Club is holding its annual fund-raising event on Saturday 29^th of October with all funds raised going to BIKES (Bribie Island Kids Education Support).

The fun day will run from 8.00am am to 4.30 pm. Start the day at 8.00am with a Treats and Treasure stall followed with a range of fun croquet activities throughout the morning.

This year the team is really hoping to include children 9 and above in the morning activities. They will be able to try out Gateball which is a fast and fun game of croquet originating in Japan. Coaches and equipment will be available to assist kids to play the game. For the big kids or adults more interested in finding out about golf croquet they can give it a try with the support of our other coaches. A sausage sizzle will be held from 10.00 am. In the afternoon they will be holding the community club croquet challenge. There will be raffles with great prizes and a yummy afternoon tea available.

How can you help?

The Bribie Island Croquet Club is requesting your support in the following ways:

• Make a monetary donation toward the fund-raising event
• Provide items for the raffle or market stall
• Join in morning fun activities
• Most importantly put together a team (s) of four people from your club or organisation to compete in the Annual Community Club Croquet Challenge ($20 entry fee per team)

The Community Club Challenge is made up of teams of four competing against each other in games of croquet for the honour of winning an award and having their name placed on the ongoing Croquet Mallet Trophy. All equipment is provided, with some coaching in the finer art of croquet before competing. You are guaranteed to have lots of fun and your support will greatly assist BIKES in their work supporting kids on our Island to reach their full potential.
