What's On Moreton Bay | Abbey Medieval Festival

Abbey Medieval Festival

Caboolture and Morayfield
July 6th at 9:00am
from $21.79

Step back in time and witness all things Medieval at the annual Abbey Medieval Festival. This is the world's biggest, most authentic, annual medieval re-enactment in the southern hemisphere, a truly immersive medieval experience that transports festival-goers back to the days of kings, Vikings, fair maidens, knights and peasants and has been hosted in Moreton Bay since 1988.

Watch as brave knights take to the lists in the joust, be captivated by the hypnotic belly dancers in action, meander through the 70 medieval-inspired market stalls, pick up medieval skills at one of the workshops for artisans or tradesmen, visit the camps to learn first-hand how medieval people traveled, lived and interacted as family and tribal groups, among much more immersive fun.

In 2024, the Abbey Medieval Festival will return on 6th and 7th July! Mark your calendar, share the news with your friends and stay tuned for more details to be released soon!
